Servants Of The Gospel

A Christian song by Philip Percival of Emu Music. The lyrics speak of the Gospel message - that Christ died for our sins and took our punishment upon Himself, that we might be forgiven and have new life in Him. He was raised on the third day, conquering both sin and death,and is now seated at the right hand of God interceding for us, His body and church. And He has not left us alone in this world, but given us the Holy Spirit to guide us in this life and to enable us to do good works in His name. But He has not saved us for our own benefit, but also for the benefit of others as we are commissioned to share this good news with others as well.

Thank you God for your great salvation plan for mankind that surpasses all human wisdom. Thank You God for Your great love and grace for mankind that You would give us Your only Son Jesus to die and to save us from Your wrath. And thank You God that You have extended this offer of eternal life and a relationship with You, to all who would confess their sin, turn from them, and believe in Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Help us to be servants of the Gospel to share this good news with others!
