Shine Jesus Shine

A Christian song by Graham Kendrick. The lyrics speak of Jesus being the Light of the world, and how He shines in a world filled with darkness, that He may display God's glory to man through His salvation plan. In John 1:1-14, we read of the light of all mankind who was the Word and who existed with God from the very beginning. And that true light was Jesus whom John the baptist testified about, and who gave sonship to those who received Him.

Jesus we declare that You are the light of the world. Shine on us to expose all our sin, and help us to place our faith in You, for You have redeemed us by Your blood, and called us Your own. Help us to display Your likeness to others that the world may know that You are the only true God. Shine on me!
