Blessed Assurance

A classic Christian hymn by Fanny J. Crosby. The lyrics speak of the calm and firm assurance we can have as God's children, for we serve a merciful, loving and good God who saved us through the blood of His only Son Jesus. In Hebrews 10:19-22, the writer affirms that Jesus' blood has made our relationship right with God, and we can therefore have the confidence and assurance to drawn near to Him.

May it be our aim that whatever life deals us, our story and song may always be praise to our Saviour Jesus for all that He has done for us. May we bring glory to Him in whathever circumstance we are in, for we know that He has given us the blessed assurance of an eternal relationship with our Father.
