The First Noel

A Christmas carol which was edited by William Sandys. The word Noel means Christmas in French, and the lyrics speak about the first Christmas and the events that happened as recorded in the Bible in Luke 2:8-20 - The account of the shepherds who witnessed angels singing about the birth of Jesus and who visited Him and praised and glorified God for all that He had done. And it is this Jesus who has ransomed us with His blood.
