Thank You For The Cross

A Christian song by Mark Altrogge. The lyrics speak of the power of the cross whereby Christ died that we might be saved, and thanks God for this sacrifice of love that He has made for us. In Colossians 2:13-15, Paul writes to the church in Colossae on how Christ has taken away and nailed all their sins onto the cross, that they might now be alive with Christ, free from condemnation. Such is the power of the cross which has triumphed over sin and death!

We thank God indeed for Jesus our Saviour who has saved us through His death on the cross. And we strive to be transformed more and more into His image through the power of the Holy Spirit that He has given us. Let us always continue to be amazed and to give Him praise for all that He has done for us!
