Holy Spirit, Living Breath Of God

A Christian song by Keith & Kristyn Getty, and Stuart Townend. The lyrics speak of who the Holy Spirit is, and what He does in the lives of Christians - namely He is the Spirit of God who indwells us to sanctify us in our whole being to be more like Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18); the Spirit of Truth who testifies the works of Christ so that all glory might go Him (John 15:26).

In John 16:8-15, Jesus tells His disciples that after He has left them, He will send the Holy Spirit to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgement. The Spirit will only speak what He hears from Christ, and will guide us into all Truth in order to glorify Christ. We thank God that He has not left us alone in this world to fend for ourselves against trials, tribulations and persecution. But He has given us His Spirit! May He show Christ in all we do.
