Because He Lives

A Christian hymn by Bill & Gloria Gaither. The lyrics speak of why we can continue living in a world full of uncertainties, tragedies, and pain - Because Jesus lives, has forgiven us our sins and given us hope for a bright future with Him in His glory.

In Romans 5:1-5, Paul reminds the Christians in Rome that because we have peace with God through faith in Jesus, who has justified and granted us access to the Father, we can now boast in the hope of the glory of God, even in our sufferings which refines us and ultimately produces a hope that does not disappoint. For God's love has been poured out to us through the Holy Spirit. Because He lives and holds the future, we can face tomorrow, all fear is gone, and life is worth living.
