Be Still For The Presence Of The Lord

A Christian song by David J. Evans. The lyrics speak of the awesome presence, glory, and power of our God - whom we revere and fear, who shines in awesome splendour, and who saves, cleanses and heals the worst of sinners who put their faith in Him. In Psalm 46:10, the psalmist writes of God who tells His people to be still and know that He is God. And He will be exalted in all the earth.

Let us be still and know that His presence is always with us through the Holy Spirit who lives in us (1 Corinthians 6:19), that His glory has been seen through Jesus who came from the Father (John 1:14), and that His power is seen through the gospel for all who believe in Jesus and what He has done for them (Romans 1:16). Indeed there is no work too hard for Him. In faith receive from Him. Be still for the power of the Lord, is moving in this place!
