Tis So Sweet To Trust In Jesus

A classic Christian hymn by Louisa Stead. The lyrics speak of the sweetness of trusting in Jesus, who keeps and delivers on all His promises, whose blood has secured our salvation, and who will be with us to the end. In John 14:1-4, Jesus comforted His disciples knowing that He would only be with them for a little longer, before going to the cross to die. And He told them not to be afraid but to trust and believe in Him, for He would go prepare a place for them in His Father's house and take them with Him as well. And that they knew the way He was going - through Jesus, the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).

Jesus tells us to trust and believe in Him, for it is through Him that we know God and all God's promises are fulfilled. May God give you the grace to put your trust in Jesus, who has died for you, washed away your sins with His blood, and brought you back to a right relationship with God. Only trust in Him and Him alone!
