A Christian song by Doug Horley. The lyrics speak of our desire to see Jesus lifted high so that others will know that He is the only way to heaven. In John 3:14-15, Jesus referred to an event that happened during the Israelites' exodus from Egypt where they had grumbled against God for bringing them out from Egypt without food and water. And he punished them by sending venomous snakes to bite and kill them. And God provided a way out in that whoever looked upon a bronze snake that was lifted up on a pole, he would be saved and live. This was fulfilled in Jesus as well in that when He is lifted up on the cross to fulfill God's salvation plan for mankind, all who look to Him will be saved.Jesus has been lifted high and all who believe in Him will be saved. We thank God for His great wisdom in this, and we continue to do our part in proclaiming Jesus as the only way to the Father.
